Here we are almost at the end of the year. Looking back, I wasn’t as productive as I would have liked. Thankfully my stitching bug didn’t completely abandon me, as it seemed to return during my evacuation from Hurricane Florence. Once I found a new job, and my depression subsided; I was thankful I could get some serious stitching done. I even figured out how to make my own needleminder, but that’s another post. 🙂
Finishes of 2018:
- Sue Hillis’ Map of Iowa
- Scooby Doo Quickstitch made by me
- Dimensions A Pair of Wolves
- Kincavel Krosses Baa Baa Blackwork Sheep
I really hope I will be able to add Mr. Sparkle to that list. I’m so close to the finish and it would be a shame if I wasn’t able to complete it by the end of the year. I do have some nice new acquisitions to my stash and I’m super excited to start everything I have planned for 2019 (and finish some other UFOs, too).
Instead of stitching pages 3 and 4 separately, I decided to do them all at once. As you can see I am almost finished with the black floss and will soon be left with 5 colors instead of 9 and I will be that much closer to the big finish. I guess I should stop writing about stitching and get back to it.
Bring on 2019!
